John was born in 1968 in Eindhoven, where he graduated at the Art Academy ( "Reproduktie Opleiding") .
He worked for a Dutch comic magazine ( Striptuur). He made a lot of lithographs, drawings and illustrations. In 1987 he received the first price of animation films ( "Het groene gras effekt"). The film was later shown on Dutch National television. In 1990 he went to Spain and he produced his first collection, which was exhibited in  "Sala Generosa- San Pol, Sagaro". 
In 1992 he had an exposition in "El Celler", Barcelona and in 1993-1994 there were also some small expositions in the Netherlands. In 1995 he went back to Spain and became the graphic Designer
 of Liberto Jeans. In 1996-1997 John was the winner of the poster contest in Playa d'Aro ( Spain). In 2004-2005 and 2006 he exhibited his paintings in various expositions in "Alans Bar" in Sant Feliu de Guixols ( Spain).
