Leggendo in Sartiglia: Oil on canvas 40x60 Cotton made in Genoa, Italy in February 2012. Collection "Women of the world." I wanted to represent the spirit of Italian culture reflect them in the act of reading, where this young woman in disguise for the Sartiglia, a party that has its origins in the Spanish era in Sardinia. At heart I placed a series of typical houses of the island to which I have used a brush loaded with paint and turn signals as in the water for reflections. I used the Bougainville to symbolize the carnival spirit as the flower is not what it seems but the little white pintitas wrapped in leaves transformed.
